Lee began riding horses at a young age and has over 30 years of experience riding and working with horses. She attended the University of Virginia, where she rode on the Equestrian team. There she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a double major in Psychology in 2002. She volunteered for a therapeutic riding center after college and saw the impact that it had on both children and their families. She spent 17 years in the business world before deciding to follow her passion for horses. She joined CHATS as a therapeutic riding instructor in 2019 and has since completed all the necessary work to become a Movement Method & Horse Boy Method trainer. Lee has hosted several certification groups with teachers, parents, and grandparents interested in helping somebody in their personal lives and at school. When Lee is not at CHATS, she spends time with her husband and two daughters and riding as much as she can at a nearby hunter barn. Lee continues her service to other local nonprofits both as a volunteer and by serving on several boards.
